God Is Faithful

Have you ever seen so much destruction in the world as these days we live in? I can see why your average person would cringe at the lawlessness going on. It’s exactly what Satan is trying to do to our country.

The Oxford Dictionary defines lawlessness as: “A state of disorder due to a disregard of the law” and gives an example sentence of: “The country’s descent into lawlessness.” If our leaders are corrupt, then Satan pretty much has a written invitation to come in and steal, kill, and destroy. That’s why we’re instructed in First Timothy 2:1-3 to pray for our leaders:

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men [not just some men];

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Amen. I understand how hard it can be to pray for mercy for some of the most perverted people who are killing and molesting children and attacking the elderly and our youth. It doesn’t get much sicker than people begging to kill babies! However, our Father who is faithful and just wants to save these people just like He saved me when I was a lost sinner. Jesus died for all of us. We cannot forget that. We must pray that God can convict and redeem these people with His love and mercy. Amen.

What a great testimony if our leaders became filled with grief and shame over what they’ve done and repented, giving their heart to Jesus!! Glory to God!!

Let’s make a strong stand to forgive and to pray for all of the lost people out there, not just the ones we prefer. Psalm 46:10 says: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. He is faithful. Let’s trust the Lord, pray, worship, and give Him thanks. Amen. He gave us these instructions for our sake—that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (First Timothy 2:2). Amen.

We don’t want to fall into the traps and snares of the enemy. Satan has ignited every evil, demonic source that he can enlist in his army to defeat us. But Jesus has already defeated him! Luke 10:19 says: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Glory to God!

In His love,
