Confess Jesus

Dear Friend,

We just finished celebrating the Easter holiday, and we can all appreciate that we have a living God—not a statue made of concrete or metal. Jesus made a way for us by giving up His life for us all. Amen. First Corinthians 15:20 says: But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. Glory to God! Jesus set the captives free. We can embrace the freedom that comes from knowing He is alive and well. Amen.

I want all people to know and understand that Jesus is the only Way to Heaven, to eternal life. Amen. Romans 10:9 says: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. I hope people will start pursuing God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit with a passion, and that the love of God prevails as we pray for the lost and hurting people in the world.

What has always inspired me and deepened my love for Jesus is that He didn’t have to go to the Cross—He chose to. Philippians 2:8-14 says:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

Verse 14 is an important key: Do all things without murmurings and disputings. Amen. Emotions are running high with all of the things that are going on in the world; however, we tie God’s hands if we choose to be hateful and full of strife. Jesus loves us all. He died for us all. He even loves the people we don’t like! We need to forgive and let our heart heal from things that have happened in the past and stay in His peace. Amen. Our Father is faithful.

We must keep praying for our leaders and for people of all nations. My heart is especially burdened for our youth. Jesus is greater than Satan, and I decree and declare that our children and future generations are saved in Jesus’ Name.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
