No Condemnation

Dear Friend,

Have you ever been guilty of self-condemnation? Being so critical of yourself that you begin to feel like you can’t ever do enough to have God’s love and favor? Condemnation is one of the most successful ways for the devil to hinder your prayer life.

But our Father knows we’re not perfect, and He loves us anyway. In fact, our imperfections are why the Holy Spirit was sent to teach us about God’s love and to guide us into truth. John 14:26 says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Our Father made provision for us through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He loves us too much to let us go. Amen.

The devil, on the other hand, he will not stop trying to destroy us. He will continue to seek a place within us that he can influence us by—like feelings of unworthiness and so on. He wants to convince us that we’re not good enough to do anything or that we shouldn’t forgive ourselves for things in the past. It’s so sad because no matter what we’ve done, the truth is: Jesus, Father God, and the Holy Spirit will never stop loving us. Amen.

When we mess up, all we need to do is repent and mean it in our heart. God hasn’t changed His mind about us. He loves us. We can’t let the devil steal our confidence. Jesus made a way for us when there was no way. He sums it up in John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Praise God!!

Don’t let the devil steal anything from you! He is a liar. Amen.

One of the biggest keys to stopping the devil from keeping us in condemnation comes from us forgiving one another just like Jesus forgave us. First John 3:18-21 says:

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence

toward God.

I always tell people that they can’t change the past; however, they can change the future. Amen.

Never forget how much God loves you. If you’ve been struggling with condemnation, please forgive yourself and know that you have been forgiven. Our Lord is faithful and He is just. Amen.

In His love,
