Awesome God

Dear Friend,

I talked to a young lady last month who blessed me beyond measure. Our conversation gave me a deeper love for this country.

The young lady had moved here from a Muslim nation, and while in that nation, she and her siblings became underground Christians. She said they had to keep their faith a secret.

However, what amazed her the most about the USA once she got here was that people could walk into any church without fear. Now she’s raising her daughter to know Jesus.

God bless this young woman and keep her—provide everything she needs in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

We are so blessed in this country. Instead of complaining about church, we should be thankful that we can choose to attend any church we want to attend, and hopefully it’s one that is teaching truth. Amen.

I love what our Father is doing around the world—He is extending His mercy and grace to bring in the lost and the hurting; therefore, we need to treat people with love and respect while still speaking the truth.

I’ve seen a lot of restoration in my own family. Glory to God! I am blessed to have good children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We belong to the family of God and our life is our testimony.

As Christians, the way we treat people is so important. We need to search our heart and make sure that we are loving and kind, otherwise, people might not want to be like us.

The Lord dealt with me a long time ago not to hurt those for whom He had died. I thought, “Wow!! He died for everyone.”

Not hurting people doesn’t mean that we should agree with sin or with bad behavior, but we are to handle people with love. Amen.

I think Jesus has a good sense of humor, because when I mess up, one of the first things that I think is, “Lord, I know You don’t like it when I act like that. I’m sorry.” Jesus lives in us. If we act hateful or ugly, that doesn’t do Him justice. Amen.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:17

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

1 John 4:18

Satan is trying so hard to destroy and divide our families and our country. We can’t let him get away with it. Jesus loves us. We can exchange our weaknesses for His strength. We can walk in His love, and the peace that passes all understanding is ours. The joy of the Lord is ours. Hallelujah!

This is my prayer according to Ephesians 3:17: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith . . . being rooted and grounded in love. And remember what Jesus says in Luke 6:35: But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

I know it’s not always easy to walk in God’s love, especially when you see so many people being hurt and hurting. We absolutely need to keep praying for our country and for our leaders and hope that Jesus can reach them.

God the Father wants so much to redeem all who are lost. Please keep praying in the Holy Spirit and trust that our Father is doing everything He can to save our nation and restore the people in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
