Guard Your Mouth

Dear Friend,

So much is going on in the world right now. It would look like gloom and doom if we didn’t have Jesus. Amen. In all honesty, there has been a time or two when I’ve had to remind myself that we’ve already won.

When I think of all the wonderful things Jesus has done in my life, I can’t stay sad. Psalm 91:7 says: A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Glory to God! We should never quit praying for our leaders and for our country. That’s what God said to do. Amen. Let’s be strong like our Father told Joshua: Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest (Joshua 1:9).

Jesus has made a way for us. He loves us, and as long as our trust and confidence is in Him, we win. We’ve already won, amen.

Jesus was willing to die for us even though He could have called for more than twelve legions of angels to save His life when the soldiers came to take Him away in Matthew 26:53: Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

We are loved, we are protected, and corruption hasn’t changed. It has always been here. However, Jesus has overcome the world, so we can have peace knowing that. He says in John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Hallelujah!

I have been praying for the Lord to help me guard my mouth as Ephesians 4:29-32 says:

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

And then Ephesians 5:1 says: Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. Amen.

I don’t want to be a mouthpiece for Satan. I want my prayers to be effective. I want our country to succeed in God. The suffering that is happening everywhere right now, let’s give God something to work with through our prayers. If we can stay focused on what God has to say about everything, then we will see many things change for the good. Amen.

God bless you.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
