You Can Have Peace

Dear Friend,

In the world of massive, turbulent situations that our nation is in, isn’t it wonderful that we can dwell in the peace that passes all understanding? Proverbs 16:7 says: When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Strife is a killer of peace, and it’s an open door for the devil.

Colossians 3:15 says: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Now here is one of the keys for peace in Second Peter 1:2: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. The more we know about God, the deeper our relationship is with our Lord, and the greater our peace should be.

The devil thrives on fear and strife, and he will do his best to divide and conquer. Some people have such a lack of peace that they can’t sleep at night for fear something’s going to happen to them if they do. However, Psalm 4:8 says: I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

It is a sad thing for the world to watch Christians fighting amongst themselves. We need to be praying for the restoration of the lost, the hurting, and all those in authority.

I’ve told people on more than one occasion to keep their own closet clean and to pray that we can keep it that way. I don’t know why some people want to be about everyone else’s business. We should be praying for their recovery, not judging or condemning.

When I pray for people, my country, and all those in authority, it’s God’s job to take care of it. He is quite capable of handling everything. That’s where peace comes for me. I know I did my best, and now God has something to work with.

I am so grateful to Jesus for saving me. We all have a lot to be thankful for. We have an amazing Father, we have Jesus, and we have the Holy Spirit. Look what They have done. We now have a president who openly prays and gives God glory! And the world is trying to crucify him. I pray that all who are attacking repent and come into the knowledge of God. My hope is that we all come into a deeper knowledge of God and enter into a place that is not shakable by anything that Satan throws at us.

Romans 15:13 says: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Glory to God! Romans

14:17 says: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Peace is mentioned around 429 times in the King James Bible. There must be something to it. Amen.

Here is my prayer for you according to Romans 16:20: And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
