God Is Good

Dear Friend,

I am so very grateful that our Lord is so patient with me. At times, I’ve gotten frustrated with how things are going nowadays, but He has a way of pulling at my heart with His love, peace, and understanding. I like getting answers to my prayers, so at times, He will show me what is blocking those answers.

First Peter 2:1 says: Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings—sometimes we just need to go back to the very basics of our salvation. Amen. Then verse 2 says: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. Now if we do that, then according to verse 3: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Sometimes we forget how loving and merciful the Lord is.

I don’t like what Satan is doing to our nation and to our children, but we can stand against it and stay strong because our Father has our back. Not only that, Jesus already made sure we would make it, and we have the Holy Spirit who is the greatest Comforter and Teacher. Amen. Hebrews 12:2 says it very well: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Amen.

I know in my heart of hearts that our Father is so pleased when we do what the Word says instead of taking on the care of problems we might have. Satan has already been defeated. He is not worthy of the attention he is seeking through various attacks.

I am so blessed. I have a God who loves me. I wish everyone understood that no one is going to get away with any wicked thing. Every knee will bow to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. I count it all joy to be a child of God.

My hope is that people will repent and make the devil cringe as they give their testimonies on how great and wonderful Jesus is: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (Second Peter 3:9). Amen.

I think about this scripture a lot because of all the dark, ugly things I was once involved in. I am very grateful for God’s love toward me and toward every one of us.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
