Declaring War!!

Dear Friend,

We have entered the year 2020. I am grateful for all of last year’s accomplishments, amen. I believe, however, that we need to aggressively attack Satan instead of always being attacked. The Jezebel spirit has ruled and reigned over our land long enough!

Jezebel has always been a heavyweight contender. But, when Jehu was anointed king over Israel, Jezebel’s days were numbered:

Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.

And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

2 Kings 9:11-13,22

In verse 22, Jehu was pretty direct in what he said, and he didn’t back down. He declared war on Jezebel!

Now, when Jezebel heard that Jehu had come for her, verse 30 says, She painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

Jezebel was a Phoenician princess, and the marriage between her and King Ahab of Israel destroyed many of God’s people. Jehu brought an end to her idolatry by having two or three eunuchs throw her out of the window.

You see, we have everything we need to break the power of Satan over our churches and land. We need to make a stand, unite, and bring down the Jezebel spirit. Luke 10:19 says: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. We don’t want to end up like the church in Thyatira in Revelation 2:20-23:

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

What amazes me is the mercy the Lord still showed, giving the false prophetess room to repent.

We must make a stand, amen, praying for our leaders, worshiping the Lord, and doing all we know and thanking the Holy Spirit for teaching us how to defeat the enemy. Satan is not and never will be greater than our God.

Praise You, Jesus. Praise You, Father. Holy Spirit, thank You for teaching and training our mouths and our hands for war—He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms (Psalm 18:34).

We can have victory. Don’t be discouraged by what you see in the world. Jesus is alive and well! Glory to God!!

In His love,

Donner Roberson
