Jesus Is Alive

Dear Friend,

The resurrection of Jesus is why we can say, O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (First Corinthians 15:55). I know it can be difficult to wrap our mind around all the things Jesus has done for us. I feel a deep gratitude for all the things He has done for me. He defeated the enemy; He made a way for us to be reunited with the Father while making an open show of Satan. I love the way the Apostle Paul says in Colossians 2:6: As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him. And then verse 7 says: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Too many of us have not been taught that we absolutely need to pursue our relationship with God, that we need to become rooted and built up in Him. There are so many ways to develop a strong relationship with Him: reading the Word, praying in the Holy Spirit, worshiping Him. Each one really works. Amen.

Our Father is awesome. He made every provision for us. Paul goes on to say in Colossians 2:9,10,15:

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Don’t be discouraged with all the things the devil is trying to do. Jesus has our back. He hears us. Amen. I can’t think of anything greater or sweeter than the love of God—how He loved us enough to make it possible for our names to be written in the Book of Life. He will never leave us or forsake us. The Holy Spirit will comfort and teach us. First John 2:28 says: And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. I’m rejoicing! God loves us so very much.

Have a blessed Easter holiday and share God’s goodness with someone. Jesus has Risen—that’s a lot to be grateful for! Amen.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
