In Jesus, We’re Forever Free

Dear Friend,

The current times have been a real struggle for our nation—the freedom-loving country that we have. I’ve traveled through many of our states, and they all have their common denominator “freedom,” and each place has its own beauty. But Satan is trying to slide in and take over.

However, if we remain diligent in prayer for our nation and our leaders, we will be giving God something to work with. Even Saul of Tarsus had a change of heart when he had an encounter with Jesus—it changed him forever into the Paul whom we love in the Bible.

The thing Satan is striving to do is to kill our hope. We can’t let him do that. Amen. Psalm 31:24 says: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. We can’t let go of the promises of God. Amen.

I know many people are discouraged right now. We all fight against discouragement at times. Yet, Proverbs 13:12 says: Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Glory to God. As long as our confidence is in our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, we can’t fail.

Hatred, strife, and divisions are what weaken the Body of Christ. If we want to keep our freedom, we need to put away all the works of the devil and start practicing what Jesus taught us, especially what is said about fear in First John 4:18: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Amen.

The devil is the father of lies, but he can’t make us give up as he would like. As long as we trust our Lord to redeem us, He will. Jesus can’t break His word. Amen. Our real freedom is the love and peace that we have because we have Jesus. In Him, “we are free.” Amen.

I’m putting my country and my family in the safest place—in the hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The enemy has no control over us if we walk in God’s love. Amen. I love what Jesus says about love in Luke 6:27: But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.

Our Father has our back. He will never let us go. I love that about Him. We can celebrate every day, because with Jesus, all things are possible: And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27). Amen.

We serve a great God, and we live in an awesome country. We will see good changes if we continue to pray for our leaders, our country, and our families.

Praise God!

In His love,

Donner Roberson
