Two Opinions Will Cost You

Dear Friend,

I want to continue from last month’s letter talking about the cost of two opinions. It has been brought to my attention that some people think they can be a “witch” and a Christian. That’s so far from the truth. I really don’t understand how any Christian would think being a witch is okay.

I used to be a witch, and I was delivered of all that by our Lord Jesus Christ, amen! Thank You, Jesus. I understand that people are hungry for supernatural power, but the only good kind comes from God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

In First Chronicles 10:13, the Scripture tells us that Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it. In other words, Saul disobeyed the Lord and he consulted a medium for guidance, and he died because of it.

Galatians 5:20,21 says:

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

I don’t believe Father God has changed His mind about witchcraft. Amen. I choose to believe the Bible.

First Peter 5:8 warns about how Satan operates: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. But don’t worry. Jesus is the opposite of best buddies with the devil. LOL! And Jesus is on your side. He said in Luke 10:18,19:

I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

I can give another example of what trying to serve God and the devil can cost. Ahab was primarily a worshiper of Yahweh, Israel’s God. However, his earthly father, Omri, convinced him to marry Jezebel, a Phoenician princess. Ahab wasn’t very strong, so Jezebel ended up destroying many of Israel’s prophets.

You cannot serve two masters and please God. If you know anyone who’s playing with the occult, please encourage them to repent. There is only God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

If you’re craving the supernatural, get filled with the Holy Ghost and start praying in tongues. The devil is very cunning. He may even come as an angel of light. But remember that he is the father of lies.

I hope these letters have helped you. You have a wonderful, loving, and full of mercy Father. Amen.

In the Name of Jesus, we rebuke you, Satan!!! Glory to God!

In His love,

Donner Roberson
