Our Father’s Love

Dear Friend,

I’ve been praying a lot about our Heavenly Father’s love. It’s overwhelming to think of all the many things He has done just to call us His children. It makes me sad when people think He doesn’t care about them. Our Father is the best Dad we could ever have. He showed us through His Son—our Lord Jesus—how much He loves us, and through Jesus, our Father was letting us know what He is like.

In John 14:6,7 Jesus says:

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

We know the love Jesus walked in—He healed the sick, He gave hope to the lost ones, He had mercy and compassion, and He loved us all. How anyone can think our Father runs around punishing us and taking lives of innocent children is beyond my understanding. Jesus made it clear that if we know Him, we will know our Father.

In Matthew 18:11, Jesus says: For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. He goes on to say that the Father rejoices more for the lost sheep that is found than the ones that do not go astray. Then Jesus says in Matthew 18:14: Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

A good father loves and protects his children. I’m so grateful that Levi has God the Father who has blessed him with an earthly father. Darrin is an amazing dad! He teaches Levi, he protects Levi, and he shows Levi the love he needs from a Godly dad. I am blessed to call Darrin my son in Christ.

Godly fathers are wonderful, and my prayer is that every earthly father has the hunger and love to be the dad they need to be for their children. I know several excellent dads. God bless them! Amen.

Romans 8:38,39 says:

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I just want to say thank you to all the Godly fathers. Let’s agree that our Father keeps His hand on them, giving them the love, peace, and wisdom they need to raise their children in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Levi is blessed to have such a Godly dad—I’m smiling. Thank You, Father God, for being such an awesome Dad, amen.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
