No Bunnies

Dear Friend,

Spring is here, yeah! I love it—watching the things that are dormant come to life. Sometimes I marvel at the miracle that unfolds when, say for instance, my irises die at the end of the season, then in the spring, they start coming up again with new leaves and new flowers. It’s beautiful.

We were dormant once, sleeping—dead if you will—until Jesus paid the ultimate price for us and was raised from the dead to pay for our sins. All we had to do was receive Him as our Lord and now look at the benefits:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,—wow, imagine that . . . an inheritance reserved for you! Praise God—

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 1:3-9

Hallelujah!! We are truly blessed. He has risen and we’re celebrating our Jesus! I love it.

Teaching our children the true meaning of Easter is important. My son Levi knows that Easter is about Jesus, not a bunny. Praise God!

We can rejoice because we have the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
