Dear Donner,

I have smoked for 30 of the last 35 years and I am now free of cigarettes.

A few weeks ago we had a prayer line at the end of the service.  I got in line and you came to pray for me.  All you said was, restoration- from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. I went home, finished my carton of cigarettes that I had on hand over the next week, knowing that this was the end of smoking for me.  When I got down to the last few, I knew I didn’t have to buy and more.  I didn’t and I can tell you that I am a free woman today.

Also, I have fought asthma to the point where my doctor told me I would have to quit my job due to the chemical inhalants/irritants that I’m exposed to in my work.  These included perfumes, Lysol, bleach fumes, carpet fresh, air fresheners, scented candles, etc.  I was on a steroid inhaler and a bronchodilator inhaler twice daily in order to function at all.  I am now off my inhalers, can tolerate all normal scents and fragrances and my peak flow (pulmonary function test) has gone from 400cc on a great day to 500cc now.
