Be the Right Kind of Stubborn

Dear Friend,

Aren’t you so glad that our God reins! Contrary to the news, we live in a blessed, beautiful country. The devil would like us to quit, give up, and agree with defeat. I just don’t think I can do that. Amen.

I have been known to be extremely stubborn. Thank God I’m stubborn for Him and His truth, not Satan’s. (I’m smiling.) There was a time when I was that stubborn for Satan. But he has lost his control in my life, and he knows he won’t get that control back. Glory to God!!

Everyone has an important call to fulfill. We need to continue praying and fellowshipping with Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is more than happy to help us. There is no male or female in the spirit. Ladies, don’t let being female stop you. It’s a shame that Satan attacks so hard in this area. There are so many amazing women in the Bible. Mary Magdalene was one who spoke to my heart when I was first saved. She was delivered, healed, and set free—seven devils being cast out of her.

I was a very broken woman when I met Jesus. I never felt like I qualified for anything, but when Jesus touched me, I was never the same. He has been my Rock ever since. Mary Magdalene and many others loved and stood by Jesus to the very end. John 19:25 says: Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

Jesus healed, delivered, and set completely free many women and men. Our Lord is fair and just. Amen. He loves all of us—men, women, children. To Him, all lives matter. He doesn’t care what color we are. I love that about Jesus. We’re created in His Image. God, our Father, knew what He was doing. Hallelujah!!

This month I wanted all of us to see how important we are to God. We can’t let anything stop us from being whom He called us to be. We’re valuable to God.

This Mother’s Day, I would like to say “Thank you” to all of you praying moms and spiritual moms. You are His beloved. Never think you’re less because you’re a woman. Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene first as Mark 16:9 says: Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

There are so many extraordinary women in the Bible: Ruth, Hannah, Queen Esther, Deborah, and the list goes on. All of them were faithful, obedient women. I like what Hannah prayed in First Samuel 2:1: And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

Rejoice, women of God! He loves you.

God bless all of you moms and spiritual moms. Please continue to pray and to teach the children how much Jesus loves them. Have a blessed Mother’s Day.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
