Dear Friend,

If there ever was a time that we need to be praying for our country, it is now! Satan has assaulted our nation to the place where it has been approved by law to kill babies who are full term. I don’t agree with abortion for any reason. It’s just evil. I can understand a young girl being afraid and scared from people pressuring her, but it’s still not right. However, it is forgivable, and Jesus made a way for all sinners to come to Him. If we let anger rule, we will lose a lot of people whom Jesus died for. Satan has convinced people that it is moral to do these things.

If we’re going to be angry, let’s be angry at Satan. Our country is being torn apart by all of this. We need to be united as Christians and pray. Second Chronicles 7:14 says: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. As Christians, we have to take responsibility for what is happening in the world. If we don’t pray for people to be delivered from Satan’s evil schemes to destroy our country, families, and everything Jesus Himself died for, we’re guilty of letting it happen. We have to quit fighting amongst ourselves and unite in prayer for the redemption of our country.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:44,45:

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Learning to love our enemies and praying for them is what separates us from the world. Verse 46 goes on to say: For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? We shouldn’t be responding to situations just like people who don’t know God the Father. His wisdom, His love, and His peace will prevail.

The people who are agreeing with this horrible, gruesome way of killing babies need to repent, especially those saying they are Christians. May God have mercy on them.

I’m grateful that every aborted baby will grow up in Heaven, but it would be good if they knew we cared enough about them to pray. God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit made a way for us to make a difference in the world. Let’s pray for our nation and our leaders. Amen.
