He’s Alive

Dear Friend,

We have so much to be grateful for, especially the life and death of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I know a lot of people who aren’t saved can’t comprehend what Easter is really about. Jesus explained it to Martha in John 11:25-27:

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

If only unbelievers could grasp the importance of what Jesus has done for all of us. That’s why we must keep praying for the lost. Amen. The most important thing on earth is salvation. We can’t afford to continue living in hatred, strife, and unforgiveness. When we die physically, every one of us will wake up in either Heaven or hell.

The love and grace our Father in Heaven has bestowed upon us through Jesus says it all. Jesus is amazing. He loves us no matter where we’ve come from or what we’ve done. If we truly repent for our sins, He is quick and just to forgive us. That shows how wonderful He is as the Scripture says in Luke 15:7:  I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

How are we ever going to win people over with the Gospel if hatred, strife, and unforgiveness are common amongst so many people proclaiming to be Christians? I love what David says in Psalm 15:1-5:

Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

King Saul attacked David on a regular basis, but David didn’t retaliate back. We also have many examples of Jesus being the greatest One of all. He asked His Father to forgive the Roman soldiers as they were crucifying Him on the Cross in Luke 23:34: Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Satan, the god of this world, has deceived and blinded so many people. I am so glad we have Jesus as our Lord. He has risen, and we have the greatest gift of life eternal with Him.

Please keep praying. We are to love people and hate sin. Jesus overcame the world. Amen.

I love what Zephaniah 3:20 says: At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord. I’m praying for our leaders in the hope that God can reach them. Jesus is alive and He still loves us.

God bless you. Have a wonderful Easter. “He has risen.” Amen.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
