Prayer Changes Things

Dear Friend,

Hallelujah! The Fourth of July is upon us! What an awesome country we have, amen. The price of freedom is costly, but thank God we’re willing to fight for it. The devil is working overtime to steal it from us. He is very sneaky.

I was looking at a nickel, and on it, it still says, “In God we trust.” However, we can’t talk about God in our schools, and some people are trying to remove Him from everything. How sad is that?

When we allow God to be removed from our country, that’s when we will see our country fall. In order to keep our freedom, let’s start with First Timothy 2:1-6:

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Jesus Himself died for our freedom. We can choose this day whom we’re going to serve—God or Satan. We need to start praying for our leaders, that if they’re not saved, they get saved.

I also want a leader who will not agree with sin or the shedding of innocent blood—meaning abortion. How long are we going to put up with this? We can call sin a sin and not be sending a hate message. God said in verse 4: Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Now, how are they going to come to the knowledge of the truth and become saved if we’re afraid to stand for the truth?

When a sinner gets born again, I don’t care what that person has done in the past. It is forgiven if they have repented of it to the Lord. Jesus made a way for us all—glory to God. He gave us freedom, just as Colossians 2:13-15 explains:

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Hallelujah! So how about it? Let’s join together in our authority and take back what the enemy has stolen. I don’t want to lose the freedom that we have. I don’t want what Jesus did—and what took place on July 4, 1776—to be in vain, amen.

Please remember always how much Jesus loves you and that He died for everyone! Don’t lend your ears or mouth to anyone who is bashing our leaders. If we want real change, we need to pray them into the Kingdom.

God bless you. I hope this letter has encouraged you, because we can change things.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
