Stay True to God

Dear Friend,

I urge you to continue praying for our leaders and for those in other nations—for all the lost to come into the Kingdom of God. One of my prayers I pray over people is John 8:32: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

I’ve noticed when people hear the truth, one of two things happens: 1) The truth sets them free; or 2) The people get very angry and reject you (although they’re really rejecting the truth).

John 16:13 says: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Jesus often made people angry when He spoke, yet He only ever spoke the truth.

John 8:42-47 says:

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Everyone is in a battle of some sort, but our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit want people to understand truth and to make good decisions. I’m grateful that we serve a God who will extend His mercy for these people who are so lost. Amen.

Knowing he would soon be executed, the Apostle Paul said in Second Timothy 4:16,17:

At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

My heart is breaking for the people who are lost. I’m praying that they are healed, delivered, and set free. Amen.

Let’s give the Father what He needs to help people accept Jesus and to allow the Holy Spirit to become their Teacher. We also need to keep praying for God’s protection for our President, for Israel, and for all the lost and hurting people in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
