Dear Friend,
It does the heart good to know that our Father loved us so much that He gave us His only begotten Son. John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. That is a lot of love. I want the Lord to know that we love and appreciate everything He has done for us. I believe that if sending Jesus was the only thing He did, we should be grateful. But He did much more. Amen.
It brings the Lord great joy when He finds one of His lost lambs. Matthew 18:12,13 says:
How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Sometimes when we’re going through a trial, we lose sight of how much God loves us. Amen. However, He knows what we need before we ask. Luke 12:29-32 says:
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Amen. I know it’s hard to believe how much God loves us, especially when we have a hard time forgiving ourselves for past things and things we’re still struggling with. I love the fact that He gives His best to show us how much love He has for us. No matter what Satan throws at us, God says that we are more than conquerors in Romans 8:37-39:
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Never forget how much God loves you!
I pray that all the lost and hurting people can and will experience that love and will give their hearts to our Lord Jesus.
In His love,
Donner Roberson
