Be Accountable

Dear Friend,

When you see or hear some of the things that are going on out in the world, it can be discouraging. Thank Heaven for our Father, Jesus, and the sweet Holy Spirit. Amen. The lawlessness that is taking place in the world is crazy, and what’s so sad is that some criminals are being treated better than victims. I hope and pray that people will repent before it’s too late. Amen. I don’t want anyone to go to hell. People need Jesus. He is our Savior.

2 Timothy 3:16,17 says:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Amen. If we don’t keep praying for the lost and for people who are deceived, many will be lost. I pray that many people will come into the Kingdom of God. Thank God we have the Holy Spirit as John 14:16 says: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.

We can make a difference. Praying, loving, and forgiving can change any circumstance. James 4:10 says: Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

I was telling my son Levi that it takes more courage to do the right thing, to stand for truth, especially when so many people think it’s okay to keep one foot in the world. The good news is: Jesus is very forgiving. Amen. Philippians 2:15 says: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

We’re not in this battle alone. When the Apostle Paul was being attacked on every side, he said in Second Timothy 4:16-18:

At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. [Paul forgave them.]

Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

We need to keep praying, loving, and forgiving—and specifically praying for our leaders.

In His love,

Donner Roberson
