Dear Friend,
It’s hard to believe that October is here. The battle of good versus evil is still going on, but the good news is: Jesus has already defeated Satan. Praise God! We can arm ourselves with the Word of God.
It is amazing to me that what we say can change the spirit realm. It can open or shut the door to demonic activity. We can’t run around not being able to discern in the spirit. No matter where we go for our Lord Jesus, we must do according to Matthew 10:16: Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Second Corinthians 11:13,14 says:
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Praying in the Holy Spirit (praying in tongues) is the greatest builder of discernment coupled with the Word of God. First John 4:1 says: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Jesus loves us and has shown more compassion, mercy, and forgiveness than we can ever know. In return, we need to show love, mercy, and compassion for the people He died for. Praise God for the ability to do this in Christ Jesus:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22,23
And then Ephesians 5:9,10 also says:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
I believe in miracles, and I know the Lord wants us to be a light in the dark. It isn’t always easy, and on our own, we wouldn’t always be successful, but Jesus lives in us, and I believe we can accomplish all things through Him. Amen.
So speak the Word! The blood and the Name of Jesus have power. Trust in the Lord, love, forgive, and keep praying in the Spirit and being taught by Him. Amen. God bless you. I am praying that the peace and love of God rest on you.
In His love,
Donner Roberson
