Dear Friend,
We need to encourage people in these troubled times. The devil is not a respecter of people. He is an equal-opportunity destroyer. He kills babies after all. To the natural eye, what’s going on in the world can look horrible, but if we keep our eyes on Jesus, we can overcome the most terrible situations. Amen.
I love Isaiah 60:1,2 which says:
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
Praise God. And the chapter just before this one says: Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear (Isaiah 59:1). Amen.
I understand how tough life can be when we’re fighting with sadness, frustration, and the loss of loved ones, but the best part of being born again is that we have Jesus, we have His strength, and we know we will see our loved ones again. Hallelujah!!
The devil is pretty set on destroying people. That’s why we need to keep praying for the lost. Satan’s days are numbered. We need to fight in the spirit as much as we can for the people out there whom he is intent on destroying.
There have always been wars and rumors of wars. Satan’s methods haven’t stopped or changed. Yet, it is so important that we don’t lose hope or trust in our Lord. The Apostle Paul said in First Corinthians 2:5-8:
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
You see, Satan just isn’t that smart. Amen. And we know from the next verse that our Father really has our backs: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (First Corinthians 2:9).
Be of good cheer—God loves you! He believes in you. Glory to God!!
This month, please especially pray for peace; pray for the lost and the hurting. Jesus needs us to believe in Him. He is alive and well. He is risen! Amen.
May you have a blessed and happy Easter.
In His love,
Donner Roberson
